Currently, the City of Manhattan Beach is working with Pacific Advanced Civil Engineering, Inc. to design the conversion of the existing Pacific Wastewater Pump Station to a gravity line. The project involves demolition of the existing station, installation of manholes, and utilizing trenchless technology to install approximately 900 feet of sanitary sewer gravity line to connect to a Los Angeles County Sanitation District sanitary sewer line at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and North Ardmore Avenue. This project was prioritized for replacement in the Sewer Master Plan due to age and capacity improvements. This neighborhood improvement will ensure the long-term reliability of the sanitary sewer system.
The City of Manhattan Beach invites you to attend an in-person community meeting to learn more about, and provide your feedback prior to the implementation of this project.
