For ages: 16+
In this specialized workshop, beginning and returning students will make a pendant or earrings with an animal, fish or figure theme. Templates and patterns will be provided or you can bring your own design. Participants will learn how to work with Silver Metal Clay including how to cut, texture, layer and shape. After the clay dries, students will learn how to refine and engrave their pieces. This small class offers plenty of individual attention. The workshop fee includes all materials. Tools will be available for use during the class. Firing will be done off-site and you will pickup your work at the Manhattan Beach Art Center within 10 days. Bring your lunch and glasses for detailed work if you need them.
