The Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk rallies thousands every October for a fun-filled celebration at the beach, where families and friends gather to walk from Manhattan Beach Pier to Hermosa Beach Pier and back in support of our children. Since 2009, the event has raised millions of dollars to support the Friendship Foundation and public education.

The Friendship Foundation assists children with disabilities and their families through one-on-one peer mentoring and social recreational activities such as summer camps, outings, sporting events, and a variety of classes that include music, yoga, cooking, art, and drama.

Through donations, public education foundations retain vital academic programs, maintain smaller classrooms, improve libraries, and upgrade school technology. The Walk also funds the Skechers Foundation’s annual national scholarship program, which donated more than 50 scholarships to deserving students across the country in 2022.

The SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk begins next to the Manhattan Beach Pier. Participants will walk south towards the Hermosa Beach Pier for the turnaround point, then return to the Manhattan Beach Pier. The total duration of the walk is about 3.5 miles.

FREE SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk is offering a FREE public shuttle from two remote parking lots for those attending the event on Sunday, October 20. The shuttle will run from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM from two separate lots:

  1440 Rosecrans Avenue
  Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
