Dr. John Bowes, Superintendent of Manhattan Beach Unified School District
For over three years, Dr. John Bowes has served as the Superintendent of Manhattan Beach Unified, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across California. Under his guidance, MBUSD has focused on achieving its five Board goals: maximizing student academic success, fostering a culture of care and inclusion, enhancing District infrastructure and facilities, maintaining a balanced budget, and ensuring clear communication.
