Independence Day is a holiday observed by both Waste Management (Refuse) and Athens Services (Street Sweeping); therefore, a modified service schedule will be implemented.
Refuse
Because Independence Day falls on a Monday, residential refuse service will be delayed 1 day for all residential customers. Therefore, Monday's route will be collected on Tuesday, and Friday’s route will be collected on Saturday.

Street Sweeping
Street sweeping will not take place on July 4, 2016 and will not be made up. All other routes will operate as normal.

The Police Department will not issue parking violations related to street sweeping on Monday, July 4, 2016.
