2018 Statewide General Election

LAVOTES-Manhattan BeachThe 2018 Statewide General Election on November 6, 2018 was administered by the Los Angeles County Registrar/Recorder-County Clerk.  Polls were open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Vote-by-Mail ballots dropped off at a polling place will be processed and counted after Election Day during the Official Election Canvass.

Sample Ballots

Residents should have started to receive their Sample Ballots from the Los Angeles County Recorder/County-Clerk. Residents that have not received their sample ballot, can contact the City Clerk's Office at (310) 802-5056 for assistance. However, registered voters can access an electronic version of their sample ballot online by visiting the Polling Place and Sample Ballot Lookup tool.

If you have any additional inquiries about elections, such as:

  • Am I registered to vote? 
  • Where do I go to vote in person? 
  • I did not receive my Sample Ballot
  • I did not receive my Vote-by-Mail Ballot
  • I mailed in my Vote-by-Mail Ballot and want to make sure the County received it.
