Water Shut-Off Procedures 

In accordance with SB 998 (Water Shutoff Protection Act), the City has adopted a Water Shut-Off Policy that describes procedures for water service shut-off due to non-payment. 

Pursuant to the City’s Water Shut-Off Policy, you may submit a request in writing for a payment arrangement plan, a payment extension or an appeal on outstanding utility charges. To qualify for these arrangements, you may be required to provide proof of certain health and financial conditions prior to the shut-off date. If you do not qualify under these conditions, please contact the City to discuss other payment options.
