The Manhattan Beach Art Center (MBAC) is excited to present LIVE, a free series of Thursday night community-building activities designed to enhance artistic skills and develop presentation confidence in local artists. LIVE is open to everyone ages 16 and up and occurs on the first Thursday of the month. The first Thursday of the month will feature Costumed Figure Drawing (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM). Parking is available in the Manhattan Beach Art Center parking lot.
Costumed Figure Drawing (First Thursday of the Month)
Hang out with your friends and work on your figure drawing skills with a live costumed model. No instructors and no pressure – draw as you feel! Attendees should bring their own materials; easels will be provided if necessary. (A $12 donation for models is suggested)

Performing and Visual Art Classes
Everything from music and dance classes to ceramics, pastel, water color and even comic book drawing! Take a look at cultural arts classes for tots, youth, teens and adults, as well as older adults classes, sports programs and aquatics classes in the MANHAPPENINGS Activity Guide.

To register for any of the classes listed above or to view all the classes and camps offered by the City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department, log on to the Registration Website and search via activity code or camp/class name by typing it into the search box located in the middle of the homepage.
