Senior Advisory Committee Applications
The City of Manhattan Beach will accept applications on an ongoing basis from residents interested in serving on the Senior Advisory Committee (SAC). When vacancies occur, your application will be considered and you will be contacted.
Members shall meet any one or more of the following criteria:

Are interested or knowledgeable in the aging field or senior citizen issues
-
Have prior experience in community projects or activities
-
Have prior experience in a community based organization
Additionally, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Are 18 years of age or older. 2/3 of the SAC should be 55 or over.

Applicants should have the ability to take an active role in SAC meetings and projects and participate in senior center programs and activities
-
Not currently serving on a City commission
-
Live, work or are active in the City of Manhattan Beach or have professional expertise relating to senior issues
You may download an application (PDF) or pick one up at City Hall Parks and Recreation Department, 1400 Highland Avenue Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Applications will be kept on file and considered as vacancies occur.
Drop off completed applications to the Parks and Recreation Department located in City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue or e-mail them to the Senior Advisory Committee Liaison or send by fax to (310) 802-5401.
