Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department 75th Anniversary Logo This year the City of Manhattan Beach Department of Parks and Recreation celebrates 75 years of service to the community. The Department of Parks and Recreation provides the residents of this beautiful beach-side community with access to facilities for self-directed and organized recreation in all its forms. Along with outdoor space to play and exercise, it provides access to the serenity and inspiration of nature. The dedication to serving the community allows for special connections, human development, with an emphasis on wellness, the arts and lifelong learning. Please join us in our celebration of 75 years of service to the community of Manhattan Beach.

This day long event will highlight what Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation does best! To celebrate a sense of place and community! From games and activities for the whole family to fitness to sports to arts and aquatics there will be something for everyone. There will be live music and entertainment throughout the day, delicious food and local vendors.

2:30 PM to 4:30 PM	Scott Whyte and Friends
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM	Glenn Patrik

11:00 AM to 6:00 PM	Chalk Walk – (all day and free) Leave your mark on the sidewalk with colorful chalk
11:00 AM to 6:00 PM	Handmade Ceramics, Jewelry, Paintings and more – Shop till you drop and support your local artists. All items are made by Students, Staff or Instructors from Manhattan Beach Cultural Arts Division programs.
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM	Handprints at the Gazebo – Make a commemorative plate or tile with your handprint, footprint or even pawprint. $5 - Voucher available for purchase at the Information Booth.
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM	Tie Dye Tshirts – Relive the 70s with a tie dyed shirt of your own. $5 - Voucher available for purchase at the Information Booth.
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM	Raku at the Gazebo – Explore the ancient art of Raku and make a one of a kind artwork. $5 - Voucher available for purchase at the Information Booth.
