Captain Christian Eichenlaub Captain Eichenlaub
Administration & Investigations Bureau

Captain Christian Eichenlaub has served the Manhattan Beach Police Department since 2000, and currently oversees the Administration and Investigations Bureau. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in May 2018.  Prior to joining the Manhattan Beach Police Department, he spent five years as a Custody Deputy with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and one year as a Reserve Officer for the Santa Monica Police Department.

Christian has served as a Motor Officer and  SWAT Commander.  Collateral assignments throughout his career have included Honor Guard, Beach Patrol, SWAT Team member, South Bay Platoon, Firearms Instructor, Use of Force Instructor.  

Captain Eichenlaub holds a Masters Degree in Business from Trident University. Captain Eichenlaub is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, POST Command College, POST Supervisory Leadership Institute, and POST Executive Development. 

Captain Andrew EnriquezCaptain Enriquez
Field Operations Bureau

Captain Andrew Enriquez has served the Manhattan Beach Police Department since 1998, and currently oversees the Field Operations Bureau. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in November 2022.  

Andrew has worked a variety of assignments, to include: administration & recruitment, patrol, traffic, DUI Task Force, DRE, investigations, Field Training Officer, Driver Training Instructor and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team.  He has supervised Patrol, K-9, South Bay Platoon, SWAT, Crisis Negotiations Team, Force Instructor Team, Professional Standards, Investigations, Community Affairs, Personnel and Training, and the Field Training Program.

Captain Enriquez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from California Coast University. Captain Enriquez is also a graduate of the POST Supervisory Leadership Institute and POST Management School.  

In his free time, Captain Enriquez coaches baseball and enjoys running, cooking and spending time with his family.
