Candidates who receive an overall passing score are eligible to receive an additional three (3) points for veteran’s credit.  The points are added to the final score.  Applicants must submit a copy of their DD214 along with their initial application materials verifying dates of service and honorable discharge.  Dates of service must fall in one of the following qualifying periods:  12/7/41 – 12/31/46; 6/27/50 – 1/31/55; 8/5/64 – 5/7/75; 8/2/90 – 4/10/91.
