November 2024 Update 

Construction will begin this month.

Current signs are a mix of "one-off" custom designs, departmental brandings, and standard regulatory style signs. In order to provide uniformity and location familiarity while in and around City of Manhattan Beach facilities, standardized layout, color, sizing, typeface/font, and logo/branding is desirous. Residents and visitors alike should be able to readily identify City owned and operated facilities.

The Phase 1 Project signs are parking and vehicle directional per the Wayfinding Master Plan (PDF). The signs are located across the City but predominately at City owned parking lots and parking structures.
