Our tour today begins with a visit to Descanso Gardens where we will board the new Grand Tram for a 50-minute guided tour through the gardens. We'll see more than 3,000 roses, peaceful ponds and the Japanese Gardens. After a bit of free time to explore the gardens on foot or to visit the gift and garden shop, our next stop will be for a lunch in Pasadena at McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant where each guest will have a choice of entree. A salad of mixed baby greens is served before the main course and homemade apple pie and whipped cream add the finishing touch to this marvelous meal. Our final stop of the day will be at the Norton Simon Museum to view one of the finest art collections in the country, including works by Monet, Degas and Van Gogh.  Registration Deadline: May 7, 2010.
