The City’s contractor, Atlas Underground, is replacing a sewer in 13th Street from Manhattan Avenue to Highland Avenue. This project has been under construction for several weeks and is nearing completion. The final order of work on the project is installation of sewer pipe in Highland Avenue to connect the new sewer to a manhole at the southeast corner of the Highland Avenue and 13th Street. This work will require that Highland be detoured via 12th Street, Manhattan Avenue and 14th Street. The work is scheduled to start Wednesday, April 28th and should take three days to complete. It’s possible that unforeseen underground conditions may prolong this schedule. This notice will be updated as conditions change.
