The City of Manhattan Beach is offering a free one-hour composting workshop on Saturday, May 1st at 10:00 AM at the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden (located at the southwest corner of Polliwog Park).  

We'll show you the right way to set up a composting bin or a worm bin, and how simple it is to recycle many organic materials right in your own backyard.  Composting and worm bins will be available for purchase for Manhattan Beach residents only at the event for $35 (please bring proof of residency).  If you live in Manhattan Beach and can't join us for the event, please contact Waste Management directly at (310) 830-7100 to order your discounted bin.
