The City of Manhattan Beach is offering a FREE one-hour composting workshop on Saturday, October 9th at 10:00 AM at the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden (located at the southwest corner of Polliwog Park).  

We'll show you the right way to set up a composting bin or a worm bin, and how simple it is to recycle many organic materials right in your own backyard.  The workshop will conclude with a time for Q & A.  Composting and worm bins will be available for purchase for Manhattan Beach residents only at the event for $35 (cash or checks accepted, please bring proof of residency).
