Wild Birds Unlimited: Join Bob Shanman Saturday, October 22nd at 9:30 AM
Bob will lead the Wild Birds Unlimited session at the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden's amphitheater where you will observe and photograph migrating birds as they drink and bathe at the garden's water feature. Colorful birds commonly seen include warblers, cedar waxwings, goldfinches, hummingbirds and many more.
Bring your binoculars, a tripod and camera. Parking is available on North Peck Avenue, off Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
Prior registration is required for most events. Reserve your spot so we’ll know you’re coming (in case of cancellation) and to ensure we’ll have enough handouts. In case of rain, class will be cancelled.
Please RSVP to Julie Gonella at (310) 546-1354, and leave your name and phone number, class you will be attending, and number of people attending the class. Please refer to the Botanical Garden Fall Class Schedule (PDF) for a listing of more free classes offered this year, or visit the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden website.
