The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting public meetings regarding possible changes to the current operation of the dune at Sand Dune Park. City Council has directed staff to receive input from the community regarding the following:

• Whether or not to replace the fence at the top and bottom of the dune and if so, what color?
• Should Sunday reservation time slots be added, and if so what times?
• Should an early morning reservation be added prior to the 8:00 AM timeslot Monday through Friday?

Input from these meetings will be presented to the Parks and Recreation Commission on January 23, 2012.
