Are you are interested in saving energy – and winning a $1,000 prize?? Then definitely take a look at the City’s Watt Watcher Energy Contest.

If you include a Manhattan Beach school you are affiliated with on the entry form, your school may win a $1,000 prize as well! The school with the most entries gets the prize. The contest entry deadline is January 31st.

Contest participants are learning about the simple things they can do to save energy, and reduce their electric bills. Manhattan Beach residents are already seeing over $100 in savings in their energy bills!

Contest rules and entry forms are available on the City’s Going Green website. Complete the simple Watt Watcher Entry Form (Word) to enter the contest today, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same in order to win some great prizes, and reduce your electricity consumption. All the prizes have been sponsored by several local businesses and organizations, and their support for this contest is greatly appreciated!
