The City's landscape contractor will be trimming the palm trees along Manhattan Beach Boulevard on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, March 21st and 22nd, 2012. Work will begin near Harkness Street and proceed in a westerly direction.

Traffic closures will be limited to between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to minimize interference with the nearby middle school and peak commuter traffic. Please be aware that some minor traffic delays are to be expected as travel will be limited to a single lane in each direction for portions of the day. City personnel will also take this opportunity to repaint faded traffic markings and repair or replace median signs and irrigation while lanes are temporarily closed.
