The City of Manhattan Beach is seeking community-spirited people to fill vacancies on the City’s Boards and Commissions.
THE FOLLOWING COMMISSIONS WILL HAVE VACANCIES EFFECTIVE MAY 31, 2012:
- Cultural Arts Commission 2 Seats – (1 Member-at-Large and 1 Business Community Member)
- Library Commission 1 Seat – (1 Member-At-Large)
- Parks and Recreation Commission 3 Seats – (1 Member-At-Large, 1 Older Adult and 1 Mira Costa Student Nominee)
- Parking and Public Improvements 1 Seat – (1 Member-At-Large)
- Planning Commission 2 Seats – (2 Members-At-Large)
Board and Commission interviews will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in the Police/Fire Conference Room. Interview times to be determined.
On Tuesday, May 1, 2012 the City Council will consider all applications and appoint members to these Commissions. To be considered for one of these Commission seats, please submit an application to the:
