Manhattan Beach Police Department will host their annual Child Safety and Fingerprint Event, known as “Take 25” on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Farmers’ Market.
Take 25 is a national child safety campaign that encourages parents and guardians to take time to talk to their children about ways to stay safer. Created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Take 25 promotes an ongoing dialogue between children, families, and communities about child safety.
Manhattan Beach Police Department will host a child safety awareness booth at the Farmers’ Market from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM for parents and guardians who are interested in more information on how to protect their children. In addition, participants may choose to have their child fingerprinted and photographed.
