The Cultural Arts Division is seeking submissions for the Why  City Hall Art Exhibition!

Exhibition Dates: January 7 to 31, 2013
Exhibition Location: Manhattan Beach City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
Theme: What I love about Manhattan Beach

Entry Rules

• Open to artists of all ages who are Manhattan Beach residents, attend school in Manhattan Beach, or enrolled in a Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation art class.
• Artwork can be in any medium.
• Limit 2 submissions per artist.
• This will be a juried show.
• Submission of artwork does not guarantee that it will be exhibited at City Hall due to space restriction.
• All submissions will be displayed in a digital photo album on the city’s website.
• DEADLINE December 17, 2012 at 5:00 PM. Late work will not be accepted.

How to Submit Artwork

• Fill out the entry form (WORD).
• Make a CD or zipped folder including electronic images (.jpg) of the artwork.
• Submit electronic images (.jpg) of the artwork along with the entry form (WORD) via email or mail or walk-in (Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) a CD of the artwork images along with the entry form to:

Please Note
The City of Manhattan Beach does not provide insurance. Therefore, the artist/lender should provide his/her own insurance if necessary. The Exhibition Program is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to any work, equipment, or personal injury beyond the City’s liability policies.
