Thanksgiving Day is a holiday observed by both Waste Management (Refuse) and Athens Services (Street Sweeping).  Therefore, a modified residential service schedule will be in place for both refuse and street sweeping.   

Refuse
Residential refuse will be collected ONE DAY LATE for those whose collection typically occurs on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th.  Therefore, if your normal service day falls on Thursday, November 28th, your trash, recycling and greenwaste will be collected on Friday, November 29th.  If your normal service day falls on Friday, November 29th, your trash, recycling and greenwaste will be collected on Saturday, November 30th.

Street Sweeping
There will be NO RESIDENTIAL STREET SWEEPING on Thursday, November 28th, 2013 in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.  Service on this day will not be made up; all other routes will operate as normal.
