Christmas Day is a holiday observed by both Waste Management (Refuse) and Athens Services (Street Sweeping).  Therefore, a modified residential service schedule will be in place for both refuse and street sweeping.   

Refuse
Residential refuse will be collected ONE DAY LATE for those whose collection typically occurs on Wednesday, December 25th through Friday, December 27th.  Therefore, if your normal service day falls on Wednesday, December 25th, your trash, recycling and greenwaste will be collected on Thursday, December 26th.  If your normal service day falls on Friday, December 27th, your trash, recycling and greenwaste will be collected on Saturday, December 28th.

Street Sweeping
There will be NO RESIDENTIAL STREET SWEEPING on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in observance of the Christmas Day holiday.  Service on this day will not be made up; all other routes will operate as normal.
