Independence Day is a holiday observed by both Waste Management (Refuse) and Athens Services (Street sweeping); therefore, a modified service schedule will be in place for July 4, 2014.

Refuse
Refuse will be collected ONE DAY LATE for those whose collection typically occurs on Friday, July 4, 2014.  Therefore, if your normal service day falls on Friday, July 4th, your trash, recycling and green waste will be collected on Saturday, July 5th.

Street Sweeping
There will be NO STREET SWEEPING on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  Service will not be made up; all other routes will operate as normal. 

The Manhattan Beach Police Department will not enforce street sweeping parking restrictions on Friday, July 4, 2014.
