How to Deal with Stress

In our modern world, we are subjected to a great deal of stress. Older people may often encounter increased levels of stress due to retirement, financial changes and the loss of important social roles. Learn about the many sources of stress, how ongoing stress affects the body and how to recognize early warning signs. Participants will actively participate in learning how to change lifestyle habits and use stress reduction techniques such as progressive relaxation and guided imagery.
