49th Annual Manhattan Beach Open Tennis Tournament Finals

Take your game to the next level or put your practice into play during the 49th Annual Manhattan Open Tennis Tournament. From Men's and Women's Open Singles and Doubles Divisions to Amateur Divisions, the tournament is sure to provide a fun-filled weekend of competition at its finest.

  • US Open Wilson tennis balls will be in play for all events.

Waiting List
A waiting list will be generated if division draws are full. If a withdrawal occurs, wait-listed players will be notified.

Draws and Refund
It is anticipated draws will be posted on TBA online, and on TBA at the Live Oak Tennis Facility. Once draws have been made, it is unlikely that any accommodations can be made. No refunds will be given after the draw is made.

Minimum Draw Size
If a division does not meet a minimum of 8 entries, it may be cancelled. Entrants in a cancelled division will be given the option of a refund or participation in a higher division (if open).

Maximum Draw Size
All divisions are limited to 32 participants with the exception of the Open singles division which is limited to 60 participants. Entries may close at any time.

Tournament Play

  • Players must be available to play every day at 8:00 AM.
  • Players are responsible for obtaining match times and locations by checking the website. We will do our best to notify you by telephone or email of any changes.
  • Singles sticks will be used.
  • Matches will be called at posted match times, not when courts are available.
  • 10-minute warm-up which includes serves.
  • Foot faults will be called.
  • Proper tennis attire is required. Must wear shirts and soft-sole shoes.
  • Electronic devices such as cell phones and headsets will not be allowed during play.
  • No refunds will be given after the draw is made.
  • A roving referee will be at each venue.
  • Some of the finals matches will be chaired.
  • Players are to check in at the location of each of their matches.
  • Times for matches on Saturday and Sunday may be adjusted.
  • Be sure to check with the Tournament Desk for final match times.
  • Players must play to current Marine League, NTRP or USTA Ratings.
  • In doubles, if two players on the same team are at different classification levels, the team must play at the higher level.
