The Playground Program is a noncustodial enrichment program designed for children 6-12 years old. All residents and nonresident children are welcome to attend. Children under six are welcome to attend the program but must be accompanied by an adult or guardian with the approval and guidance of the recreation leader. Children are encouraged to participate in all scheduled activities; however, if they choose not to, alternate activities are available. All programs are supervised by trained recreation leaders.
The Winter Vacation Playground Program is a two-week program held in December. This program is concurrent with the Manhattan Beach Unified School District vacation schedule. There is a limit of 80 children maximum per week. Registration confirmation is required at the first day of the program.

Program participants will be able to play any game they want. Participants are encouraged to share their knowledge and ideas of new games with the other participants and recreation leaders. Be prepared to have tons of fun running, jumping and trying new games and sports!
