The Playground Program is a noncustodial enrichment program designed for children 6-12 years old. All residents and nonresident children are welcome to attend. Children under six are welcome to attend the program but must be accompanied by an adult or guardian with the approval and guidance of the recreation leader. Children are encouraged to participate in all scheduled activities; however, if they choose not to, alternate activities are available. All programs are supervised by trained recreation leaders.
The Winter Vacation Playground Program is a two-week program held in December. This program is concurrent with the Manhattan Beach Unified School District vacation schedule. There is a limit of 80 children maximum per week. Registration confirmation is required at the first day of the program.

Participants who would like to have pizza, chips, drinks and a dessert for lunch at 12:00 PM must pay $5.00 to the recreation leader before 11:00 AM. Cash only please and exact change is greatly appreciated.
