Scam Presentation
Financial scams targeting seniors have become so prevalent that they’re now considered “the crime of the 21st century”. There are health insurance scams ,telemarketing/phone scams,Internet fraud, investment schemes, IRS scams, sweepstakes and lottery scams, etc.

Join members from the Manhattan Beach Police Department to learn about scams and how to avoid becoming a victim. They will discuss current scams happening in the South Bay area. They will also discuss how to report a scam and what to do if you have been a victim. There will be time at the end of the presentation for specific questions.
