There is a MODIFIED residential refuse collection schedule from for the collection day Friday, December 25, 2020 and a modified street sweeping schedule on December 25, 2020. 

Refuse (Waste Management)
Waste Management observes the Christmas Day holiday; therefore, a modified residential refuse schedule will be in place for collection day Friday, December 25, 2020.  Collection will be delayed by one day.  Therefore, Friday's residential route will be collected on Saturday.  There is no change to the refuse collection schedule for service on December 21-24, 2020.

Street Sweeping (Athens Services)
Athens Services observes the Christmas Day holiday; therefore, a modified street sweeping schedule will be in place for December 25, 2020 only.  Street sweeping will not take place on Friday, December 25, 2020 and will not be made up.  All other sweeping days that week will operate on a normal schedule and route.  If you have questions regarding your street sweeping service please contact Athens Services directly at (888) 336-6100.  Check out all the holidays observed by Athens Services which will affect service days.

The Police Department will not cite vehicles for street sweeping purposes on Friday, December 25, 2020.
