Join the MB Public Works Department at the base of the Manhattan Beach Pier on Saturday, May 27, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You will have the opportunity to view a full-size railing mock-up sample that showcases the high standard of quality for installation for the Pier Railings Replacement Project. This mock-up sample is a fully assembled 6-foot-long railing made from full-size components, including top rail, posts, horizontal rail, and infill, showing the method of finishing members at intersections and welding quality. Pending the availability of materials, installation is anticipated to start in November 2023.
