While our Council Chambers are undergoing AV upgrades, all in-person commission meetings will temporarily be held at the Police/Fire Conference Room. 

Date & Time: Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 4 p.m. 

Location: In-person at the Police/Fire Conference Room (across from City Hall, 400/420 15th Street). Please enter the building, make an immediate right, and proceed past the bathrooms to find the conference room. [Google Map]

ABOUT THE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 3:00 PM as scheduled, unless otherwise noted. Please view the City Calendar for any updates or cancellations. The Planning Commission is responsible for long-range planning activities including major use permits, commercial planned development permits, zone changes, code amendments, and modification to long-range planning documents including the City’s General Plan and Local Coastal Plan.

Meetings are broadcast live through Manhattan Beach Local Community Cable, Channel 8 (Spectrum), Channel 35 (Frontier), and live streaming via the City's website. Most meetings are rebroadcast at 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM on the Friday and Sunday following the Wednesday meeting on Channel 8 (Spectrum), Channel 35 (Frontier) and on demand via the City's website.
