There will be modified residential refuse collection services for Independence Day week (July 4 - July 5), and residential street sweeping will not occur on Thursday, July 4, 2024, due to the Independence Day holiday.

Refuse (Waste Management)
Waste Management observes the Independence Day holiday; therefore, a modified residential refuse schedule will be in place for collection days Thursday, July 4, 2024 - Friday, July 5, 2024.  Residential collection will be delayed by one day.  Therefore, Thursday's residential route will be collected Friday, and Friday's route collected on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Street Sweeping (SCA of CA)
SCA of CA observes the Independence Day holiday; therefore, a modified street sweeping schedule will be in place for Thursday, July 4, 2024, only.  Street sweeping will not take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, and will not be made up.  All other sweeping days that week will operate on a normal schedule and route.  For more information regarding the Street Sweeping services, please contact SCA of CA at (562) 861-4606.

The Police Department will not cite vehicles for street sweeping purposes on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
