The current Aviation Boulevard Resurfacing Project is proceeding on schedule! City staff would like to thank all residents and motorists for their patience throughout this period of construction. The next important phase of the project will be the actual application of the new asphalt overlay which will take place on Monday, December 28th, and Tuesday, December 29th. The nature of this work will require temporary street closures and re-routing of traffic along portions of Aviation throughout the day. City staff encourages planning alternate routes if travel through this area is necessary on these two upcoming days. As always, the Contactor hopes to keep any inconveniences to a minimum, and all parking restrictions will be posted 72 hours in advance. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this much-needed Federal Stimulus infrastructure improvement project!
