The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department Teen Center Big Bear Snowboarding Trips are open to all middle school and high school students living in Manhattan Beach, attending Manhattan Beach schools or to students whose parents work in the City of Manhattan Beach. All the trips this year will be going to Bear Mountain. There are extensive terrain parks and many areas for beginners. Transportation will be provided by Adventures America charter bus service. Amenities on the bus include T.V.s, bathroom and reclining seats. Skiers are also welcome to join. Lessons are available at Bear Mountain Ski School for an additional fee. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Basket check and snowboard check are available at the mountain.

Departure: 5:30 AM    Return: 9:00 PM
Deadline: Four days prior to each trip date (NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION)
Pick Up: Manhattan Beach Teen Center at Manhattan Heights Community Center, 1600 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach. 

Standard Trip
Includes lift ticket, transportation and supervision

"All Inclusive" Trip
Includes LESSON, EQUIPMENT RENTAL, lift ticket, transportation and supervision

Registration
Registration must be done in person at the Parks and Recreation Department Registration Counter, located in Manhattan Beach City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Please download and fill out the Registration Form (PDF).
