2011 ETF Recommendations:
The 2011 ETF developed several recommendations to help the community reduce its energy and water consumption in order to help meet City-wide commitments to lower greenhouse gas emissions and conserve water. The program recommendations were approved by City Council on October 4, 2011 and included:
- Landscape Sustainability Audit
- Solar Display at Metlox
- Community Mulch Program: visit the City’s Public Works Yard to obtain as much FREE mulch as you need
- Post Office Demonstration Garden
2008-2010 ETF Recommendations:
The Environmental Task Force made recommendations dealing with climate action and greenhouse gas emissions reductions, green building standards, water conservation, and solid waste and recycling.
