Refuse and Street Sweeping Holiday Schedule

Independence Day is a holiday observed by Waste Management and Athens Services, and therefore a modified refuse and street sweeping service schedule will be implemented.
Refuse
All residential collection for Wednesday, July 4th through Friday, July 6th will be delayed one day. For example, those who have scheduled refuse service on Wednesday will have their trash, recycling, and green waste picked up on Thursday, July 5, 2012; and those who have scheduled refuse service on Friday will have their trash, recycling, and green waste picked up on Saturday, July 7, 2012.

Street Sweeping
Residential street sweeping will not occur on Wednesday, July 4th, and will not be made up.Thursday and Friday routes will operate on a normal schedule.
