At the March 13, 2015 City Council retreat, Staff presented current budget trends and topics including key revenues, aging infrastructure, pension costs, labor agreements, and so forth. During that meeting, the City Council requested an additional session to further discuss budget matters. The purpose of this City Council meeting is to review the March 13, 2015 Staff presentation and to provide additional data on budget topics. Note that the introduction of the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 proposed budget is scheduled to be presented at the May 5, 2015 City Council meeting.
Meetings are broadcast live through Manhattan Beach Local Community Cable, Channel 8 (Time Warner), Channel 35 (Verizon), and live streaming via the City's website. Past meetings are rebroadcast at 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM Thursdays and Saturdays following the Tuesday meeting on Channel 8 (Time Warner), Channel 35 (Verizon) and on demand via the City's website.
