Water Conservation Community Meeting

H20 and You: California's Drought

How Does the Drought Impact Manhattan Beach?

On April 1, 2015, in response to the drought emergency, Governor Brown issued an Executive Order announcing restrictions to achieve a 25% reduction in potable water use statewide through February 28, 2016. Manhattan Beach strives to be a leader in environmental sustainability, and recognizes it is time for a paradigm shift in how we use our limited water resources.

Join us for a special community meeting at the Manhattan Beach Library to learn more about water conservation on May 12, 2015 at 6:30 PM. Seating is limited, so please email your RSVP or contact (310) 802-5324 with any questions.

More information will be provided as the City prepares to meet the State-mandated water restrictions, and please refer to the Water Conservation page on the Going Green website for the latest details.
