    Road closure on Pacific Avenue, between Valley Drive and 31st Street. The road is estimated to be closed until 9:00 PM this evening. SoCal Gas is repairing a sewer main on Pacific Avenue. Avoid the area.

    The plaque at Bruce’s Beach Park describing the history of the site was reported stolen today. Installed in February last year, the stolen plaque held significant historical and cultural value.

    Property Owners Approve Storm Drain Measure

    With the final votes tallied, the Manhattan Beach Storm Drain Measure garnered 52.65% of the vote in the recent election. The measure will increase the existing Storm Drain Fee, providing approximately $2.1 million per year to be used for Manhattan Beach storm drains.
