Lane Closures: Eastbound Rosecrans Avenue East of Sepulveda Boulevard
Two eastbound lanes on Rosecrans Avenue east of Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed to allow Chevron to excavate and repair an underground pipeline. The work is expected to take approximately two weeks and will take place between the daytime hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday).

Manhattan Beach Receives Award for Crosswalk Infrastructure
The City has been honored with an American Public Works Association (APWA) B.E.S.T (Building Excellence Shaping Tomorrow) Award naming the Biennial Slurry Seal Program’s Decorative Crosswalks and Safety Enhancements Project as a Project of the Year in the Creative and Innovative category.

Storm Drain Measure
The City Council has proposed the Manhattan Beach Storm Drain Measure to enhance dedicated, locally controlled funding to repair, maintain, and operate local storm drains. This measure requires public approval through a vote of property owners.

MBPD Awarded Grant for Traffic Enforcement Program to Increase Safety on Roads
The Manhattan Beach Police Department was awarded a $75,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). The grant will support our ongoing enforcement and education programs to help reduce the number of serious injuries and deaths on our roads.
