Drug Disposal Box Removal from MBPD Lobby
Due to concerns with the safety of discarding the contents, effective immediately, the drug disposal box located in the lobby of the Manhattan Beach Police Department will no longer serve as a disposal site for controlled substances.

Lane Closures and Traffic Impacts: Gas Leak investigation on Sepulveda Boulevard at Rosecrans Avenue
SoCal Gas will be investigating a reported gas leak on Sepulveda Boulevard near Rosecrans Avenue. Multiple lanes of northbound traffic will be closed on Sepulveda Boulevard. If possible, please avoid the area.

Manhattan Beach Adopts E-Bike Safety Regulations
At the September 5 meeting, the City Council adopted an urgency ordinance amending the Manhattan Beach Municipal Code (MBMC) establishing a speed limit, safety and operational standards, and location restrictions for bicycles, e-bikes, and motorized bicycles.
